SiSociale: Social Telling, the cloud platform for social reports

SiSociale is a social enterprise founded in 2003 that deals with corporate sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Its main tasks are training, reporting and certification.

SiSociale wanted software that would let Third Sector associations prepare their annual social report, now required by law, completely and quickly.

The platform had to handle a lot of different data without becoming complicated to use. It was designed for associations and cooperatives that want to keep their data under control day by day.

After an initial analysis phase, we developed cloud-based software for the client that collects the organisational data needed to compile a social report, such as governance and human resources data.

In Social Telling you can monitor all activities, analyse individual data and enter important milestones in the history of your organisation.

Once the social report has been created, it can be printed directly from the platform.

The backend is in Ruby on Rails with a PostgreSQL database, and the interface is in React. Long-running operations, such as sending notifications and generating reports, run in the background with Sidekiq.
